did succeed by two people driven by the simple desire to play a
computer game: creating a computer system that could communicate

UNIX Philosophy
UNIX allows you to work in a linguistic way with a computer. It has
been created with the philosophy in mind of "lets make small tools,
that do only one thing but do them good and connect them with a universal
interface". With little building blocks you can express any computation in one
sentence. Music has been made with UNIX using
Csound ,
the Audio System developed by
Barry Vercoe.
